Uninstall Norton AntiVirus – How to Conduct A Norton AntiVirus Removal?

Today I helped my sister check her slow and unstable computer. After starting the system, I found that the reason why her computer is so slow is that there are two antivirus programs running in her computer. One is the free Norton Antivirus and the other is Norton AntiVirus that has expired. Since she is not going to buy Norton AntiVirus, so I decided to help her uninstall Norton AntiVirus to boost her PC and avoid conflicts with Norton.
Firstly, I use the standard way to uninstall Norton AntiVirus thru add/remove program list:
Step 1 Click the “Start” menu on the left bottom of your screen.
Step 2 Select “Control Panel”
Step 3 Locate and choose “Add/Remove Programs”
Step 4 In the “Add/Remove Programs” list, you’ll see a whole list of programs and applications that are installed on your computer. Find and highlight Norton AntiVirus and click “Uninstall”
Step 5 Click “Remove” to uninstall Norton AntiVirus.
This is very simple, but sometimes it may fail. The reasons for this may be a simple failure, or that there are still some related files, service, processes and registry entries left on your computer. So it does not a clean Norton AntiVirus removal.
Then you can try to use a good uninstaller to automatically uninstall Norton AntiVirus in seconds.
