Summary : Since the development of software and internet many system applications are getting affected by “personal antivirus” making files corrupted and making systems security system and task manager disabled.
What is Personal Antivirus? Blocking of many system applications by a fake security product is called as Personal antivirus. This also blocks system real security products what is known as Windows hosts file. With this users will be blocked to visit many web sites thus doesn’t allow to make any security up dates. In such case Task manager is disabled. A message comes as the files infected with spyware. The goal of Personal Antivirus is to scare the user of the infected system / Pc and to make him/her to think of this software. Personal Antivirus configures and activated itself to run automatically each time, when you re-start your computer. Once running, the same will scan your PC / System and lists a large amount of infections.

How Did I Get Infected With Personal Antivirus? Personal Antivirus gets infected through the installation of fake video codec file when somebody tries watching a video online. The most common way of getting infected to personal antivirus is while downloading file from a website.
How to Remove Personal Antivirus? This virus can be removed by downloading software called Spyware Doctor with antivirus which can detect all fake infected files and delete it. This can be done by manual method or by auto method by purchasing a program for this. Will I lose antivirus if I change my operating system?
I have Kaspersky Internet Security 2009. The product key I have is only good for three computers (which I’ve used). I want to know if I delete my current OP (vista) from my comp and load a different one (XPpro), will I lose my antivirus, since I cannot use it on more than 3 comps. Thanks for any feedback.

downgrading will require a format ect so you bet you will. But if you ask for a reset of the limit three and explain what your doing, they will most likely do it for you once in a lifetime.

every antivirus should be installed in c: drive so whether u use any antivirus or software which is installed in c: drive gets s lost. becoz formatting means to clean up everything. better u forrmat with disk manager . ur hard disc will be safe and speeder .
Nope, your key will still work after operating system reinstall. Just make sure that you note down your key before uninstalling your OS and you are good to go. Check out the kaspersky support site below which deals with your issue.
