Dude, i don’t think there is one as antivirus software basic mechanism is that it runs in the background and when something is not trustworthy program, it blocked it before the virus could run…(in short, antivirus run before the program run)…

So, while using pendrive, u will need to run the software before u transfer the file onto the pendrive, which may be blocked by the host computer if it detects is as external apps…

My advice is, if u transfer the file onto ur pendrives, after u plug it into ur laptop, make sure that u scanned the pendrive before u open the pendrive…that will be the most effective way to avoid loss of property…

Hope this help…just take a few minutes to scan for ur pendrive will not be a burden nowadays, all antivirus are keeping up to scan more files in a short period of time…^^

there are many portable antivirus like clamwin antivirus. Just check them on portableapps.com. But you simply cant stop a virus from entering a pen drive. If you are working on an infected computer then as soon as you enter your pendrive a virus will infect the pendrive even before you can activate your portable AV software. But the portable AV will be handy always to scan the drive and remove them.

According to me there is no such antivirus specially for scanning pendrives.But i would say that you can use malwarebytes as it is free and is best.
