How 2 remove da tormenting & most-annoyin & full-of-bullshit- W32.PINFI virus.. not one but i hav got 5 of em?
WIN32.PINFI it is, i have got five of these buggers up in my PC. Norton 2006 is unable to delete it or quarantine but detects it. Moreover half of the anti virus programs i used doesnt detect the virus at all.

You can try some other virus scanning programs like McAfee. A program called HijackThis! (I think) will make a listing of the programs running on your computer as well as the registries. You can post this to a computer help forum (easy to find with an internet search), and they should be able to at least get you on the right track. If all else fails, you may need to back up your files, wipe your hard drive, and then reinstall your operating system. Just be sure to put your security software in place before you get back your files. You might also try a personal firewall like ZoneAlarm from Zone Labs. I use it, and I’ve had very few issues with viruses. Also, you might take future precautions to avoid suspicious looking emails. If you can, set up your virus scanning software to check your email for suspicious attachments.
