Delete Trojan Virus Threats Or Risk Putting You And Your Computer At Risk

If you have a trojan virus on your computer, your system is probably suffering from a lot of problems, making it vital that you delete trojan virus files before they cause any more damage.

Often, the reason your computer gets infected and you need to delete trojan virus files is two fold. First of all, you have probably downloaded a free product that contains a trojan virus. We often see these harmful intruders on free music files like MP3′s, movies, and television shows. Basically anything that is pirated. But, some people even get infected when they are trying to delete trojan virus files, because the free trojan removal product they download is infected. Ironic, isn’t it?

The other reason people need to delete trojan virus files is that they do not have adequate protection against trojans and other types of spyware and malware. How do you get this type of protection? You can find it in a number of programs that remove trojans and other types of spyware. What these programs will do is scan your system for any harmful intruders, and list them for you, giving you the option of removing them. The program also works as an anti spyware device, as it tries to spot incoming threats and deletes them before they get to your hard drive. However, even the best anti spyware programs cannot protect against all trojan threats, so you want to schedule regular system checkups to delete new trojan virus threats. The best trojan/spyware removal programs offer an advanced scheduler to take care of this problem.

If you do not delete trojan virus threats, you are putting yourself and your computer at serious risk. Your computer could crash, or worse, your personal banking information could be exposed. Protect yourself with a trojan removal/anti trojan/spyware product. We review the best ones here

Hi, I find some information for you. You can just take a look. Hope it can help!

Step
1
Reboot your computer if you have a Mac. Do this by holding down the “Shift” key while the computer restarts itself.

Step
2
Launch an antivirus program that you should have installed on your computer, such as Symantec’s Norton or McAfee. Wait for the program’s window to appear, then go to “Disk View.” Highlight your computer, then select “Scan/Repair” so that the antivirus can detect the Trojan and trash it.

Step
3
Exit the antivirus program on your Mac. Restart your computer again to ensure that the Trojan has been deleted. Empty the trash can on your computer once it is back up and running.

Step
4
Disable the System Restore feature if you’re a Windows user. Go to “Start” at the bottom of your screen, then right-click the “My Computer” icon to go to “Properties.” Check “Turn off System Restore” under the System Restore tab in the “Properties” window, then select “Apply.” Confirm that you want to disable System Restore by clicking “Yes” and “OK.”

Step
5
Update your virus definitions in your antivirus program. Open the program, or go to the website, to download the latest definitions so that you can receive the most recent alerts and keep your computer protected.

Step
6
Scan your files to detect the Trojan file. Follow the instructions in your antivirus program to delete any suspicious files. You may want to write down the path and file name of the Trojan, which is usually found in the “C:\” hard drive. Then, edit your computer’s backup registry by choosing “Start,” then “Run.” Type “regedit” in the window that appears and click “OK.”

Step
7
Search for the registry entry from which the Trojan derived, which may begin with “HKEY” followed by the file path. Delete the registry entry to ensure that the Trojan is removed. Exit the registry entry, and restart your computer so that the changes can take effect.

Manual Remove Trojan horse
Disable the System Restore feature on your computer. If this is still turned on, the system will restore any deleted files, including those infected by the Trojan horse. This can be done by going into the My Computer file and looking for the Performance option. Then select File System, Troubleshooting and Disable System Restore.

Turn on the computer and run it in safe mode. Restart the computer and when the words begin appearing on the screen, press the F8 key. This takes you to a new screen, where you’ll select the safe mode option. Let the computer start as it regularly would before you continue.

Go into the Control Panel by clicking on the “Start” button at the bottom left-hand side of the screen and looking for the Control Panel. Select the Add or Remove Programs icon. The computer should then show a list of all programs existing on your system.

Look for programs that include Spyware or adware on your computer and select the Remove program option. Many users have found it helpful to look for programs that they didn’t install and those that were installed when they downloaded a game or other program onto their computer.

Open the Windows System folder and delete all files that include the Trojan virus extension. Go through the list twice to make sure you removed all virus files. Then restart the computer in normal mode and check the folder again. If all the files are gone, you’ll be ready to move on. If there are any remaining, remove them and restart the computer.

A trojan virus cannot be manually deleted.

Do you use a licensed anti virus?

if yes then you have to update your anti virus and then try system scan.

Otherwise,

use AVG 9.0 free version. It’s awesome.

Good luck
